OEM Partnership Process: From Sampling to Confidential Shipment

OEM collaborations typically begin with sample approval: the client provides drawings, renderings, or physical samples. The factory then develops styles and colors, producing pre-production samples for texture and color verification. Once approved, process parameters are locked in, and mass production begins. Required documentation includes product specifications and cutting dimensions, color codes or reference samples, surface finish requirements, packaging methods and labeling instructions, as well as destination country compliance standards. If the client has its own branded packaging, neutral packaging and confidential shipping can be arranged per agreement. During mass production, batch-specific samples are retained to ensure color consistency for future reorders. Before shipment, a packing list and batch correspondence report are provided to facilitate cargo distribution and inspection at the destination port.
